For the last race of the season 2008 in the Belgian Championship Electro On-Road DTM, we went to Roeselare, a great track and especially very fast.  But the weatherforecast was not very good.  Rain, rain and rain they've said. On saturday everybody could drive under good weather, even the sun was there. Everybody was fast on the track. But sunday, rain, a disaster.  Everybody had to pack his car in. Because of the weather we had fiftteen drivers on the table.  Other drivers we're there, but they wouldn't drive in this conditions.  In the Efra class it was Demsey Jacob who took the pole, second was Patrick Jespers and third Gerrit Van Swijgenhoven.  The first final seems to be a one-man show with Demsey far in the lead, but suddenly his motor broke.  Patrick took first place and keep it till the finish.  A good battle behind Patrick between Nick Joosens and Olivier Bultynck but it was Nick who took second and Olivier on third place. Just before the second finale we had terrible weather.  A great fight with Demsey, Patrick and Gerrit. But Patrick was outstanding and took the win.  Gerrit just behind Patrick took second place with Demsey on third spot.  The last final we had a hard crash with Patrick and Gerrit.  Gerrit's car was running on his own, because of the weather and hit Patrick's car very hard.  Both had to stop the race.  Demsey won for Giovanni Martens and Nick Joosens as third.  Overall standings for this race are on first place Patrick Jespers, Demsey Jacob second place and Nick Joosens third place.

In the Superstock class was our new champion Urbain Swijsen the first victime of the weather.  Urbain had to retire in the qualifications. Rico Claeys took the pole in front of Thomas Stockman and Pascal Santy. In the first final we had a few leaders but it was Michel Mahieu, at his home track, who took the win in front of Stephan Roufosse and as third Rico Claeys. The second final was with the sky open.  All we had was water and water.  But never the less, they want to drive.  Thomas Stockman was the best water devil in front of Pascal Santy and third Stephan Roufosse.  The third and last final would decide who was the overall winner.  Rico Claeys started as a racket and the rest couldn't follow his speed.  Rico took the win with Stephan Roufosse in second and Andy Vandenborre as third finisher.  The overall was Stephan Roufosse as first, Rico Claeys second and Thomas Stockman as third.

This was the last race of our season.  Hopely we see everybody back next year for a new championship.
